A week-long search for a missing Tuttle man has his family asking for more help in finding him.
Thirty-two-year-old Chris Lane was last seen walking down a street near his family's home early last Saturday morning.
Lane's family says a ping from Lane's cell phone led investigators to a rugged area about a mile from the home he shares with his wife and two children. His family says a Grady County specially-trained search dog tracked Lane's scent to an 8-foot-deep pond that is covered in ice.
"Like he could have stumbled into it," said Jillian Herndon, who is the spokesperson for Lanes' family. "He does suffer from insomnia, we don't know what happened," she said.
Grady County Sheriff's Spokesperson Lisa Hatchett tells News 9 the search will continue.
