Oklahoma firefighters are responding to several grass fires Friday afternoon.
According to the fire department, at about 1:30 p.m., crews responded a grass fire at Red Bud Rd. and Simmons Rd. in Edmond.
Homeowners brought water out to help firefighters battle this fire. Crews were able to have the fire under control quickly.
Firefighters have contained another grass fire near I-44 and MLK in Oklahoma City. This grass fire was small, but dangerous, because it was burning right next to a home.
No one was believed to be in the home. Remington Drive was shut down as firefighters responded to the fire.
No injuries were reported in these grass fires.
