Meet And Greet Muskogee Roughers Wednesday

Muskogee residents can show their support for the Roughers at a meet and greet Wednesday, March 12. Both boys and girls varsity basketball players will be in front of Walmart from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12.

That's at 1000 West Shawnee Bypass.

"Come help support the Roughers' journey with a good luck handshake," said Head Coach Joshua Berry. State-bound T-shirts and other booster items will be on sale.

Girls and boys Muskogee Roughers basketball teams will compete at the state level together for the first time since 1988, according to school officials.

The Lady Roughers (22-4) play Midwest City at 2 p.m. Thursday in Skiatook. The Roughers (14-12) play Putnam City West at 8:30 p.m. in Catoosa.
