American String Quartet To Perform Free Concert At Guthrie Green

The American String Quartet will perform for free at Guthrie Green starting at 7 p.m. Saturday. The outdoor showing is in addition to the quartet's performances at the Performing Arts Center.

Bring a blanket and enjoy local food trucks during the free performance at Guthrie Green, 111 East Brady Street.

Attendees will hear:

• "Bohemian Rhapsody" – music with a Bohemian connection
• Haydn: Quartet in D Major, Op. 76 #5
• Janacek: Quartet #1 "Kreutzer Sonata"
• Dvorak: Quartet in F major, Op. 96 "American"

In the event of rain, the quartet will move to the Harwelden Mansion, 2210 South Main.

The American String Quartet will play Sunday afternoon at the Williams Theatre in the PAC.
