ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that Thunder star Kevin Durant will be named the NBA's MVP early next week.
It would be Durant's first MVP. The five-time All-Star selection averaged 32 points and 7.4 rebounds for the Thunder this season, carrying the team through long stretches without Russell Westbrook.
