Students Surprise Oologah Teacher With Teacher Of The Year Award

Oologah 6th grade students gave one of their teachers a surprise award Thursday.

Middle school students decided to make their own choice for teacher of the year and surprised longtime teacher, Bradley Bradshaw with the honor.

The students gave Bradshaw a trophy reading, "Students' Choice Coolest Teacher," a cake and shirts for the kids to sign.

Bradshaw is a science teacher at Oologah Middle School and has taught there for many years. Students said they wanted to honor him because he makes learning fun.
