Congressman Markwayne Mullin Tours Port Of Catoosa

Oklahoma Second District Congressman Markwayne Mullin toured an important Green Country agricultural resource Thursday. 

Mullin said farming is the backbone of Oklahoma's economy and the Port of Catoosa plays a vital role in transporting those goods.  He told News On 6, the port helps make sure Americans have food on their table as well as other people throughout the world. 

"To be able to ship our products in bulk, literally from right here in Catoosa, Oklahoma, to the Gulf in masses. It allows us to be competitive around the country," said Markwayne Mullin. 

The congressman says they are seeing more companies from all over the country and the world using the Port of Catoosa for shipping.
