City Of Tulsa Reopens Ziegler Park Playground

The City Of Tulsa unveiled a new themed playground at Ziegler Park on Wednesday morning.

The recreation center and pool in west Tulsa closed in 2002 because of a lack of funding.

The city tore down both and built a new themed playground. Students from nearby Mark Twain Elementary got the chance to decide what to include in the playground. They even voted on a variety of theme options, including a farm, dragon, fort, village or just a traditional playground.

The students overwhelmingly chose the fort theme.
