Tulsa Army National Guard Aviation Facility To Host 5K Run, Open House

The Oklahoma Army National Guard will host a 5K run and open house to commemorate Veterans Day.

The 3rd Annual Army Aviation Veterans Day 5K will take place at the Army Aviation Support Facility near 46th Street North and Highway 169 on November 15, 2014.

The facility will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to noon. It's the only time of the year when the public is allowed on the installation.

The 5K run starts at 9 a.m. 

The Guard will also have its Black Hawk helicopters on display, as well as its ground vehicles. Osage SkyNews 6 HD will also be on display.

The event is sponsored by the Thunderbird Army Aviation Association of America, or Quad A, the professional organization of army aviation soldiers.
