Top Western Stars In Town For Tulsa's Biggest Gun Show

Some of TV's biggest gun slinging stars are in Tulsa for one of the biggest gun shows in the world.

The Wanemacher's Tulsa Arms Show is going on right now at the fairgrounds.

Celebrity guests this year include several stars from the heyday of western shows. They said entertainment today is a far cry from what it was when they were on TV.

"We've kind of lost touch with reality a little bit. The reality shows today are like, let's go dance naked, live naked in the woods. And I think we've gotten a little bit out of hand. You know, shows like mine were fun," said Grizzly Adams star, Dan Haggerty.

Don Collier of High Chaparral said, "All the series we had back in the '50s and '60s, some were a little corny, but they were all entertaining.”

The gun show runs through Sunday at Expo Square.
