Tulsa detectives located a car connected to the murder of two women in late November, thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip.

Sergeant Dave Walker says the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix was located Thursday at an east side apartment complex.

The two women -- Amanda Douglas, 26, and Jennifer Sanders, 37 -- were found shot to death outside the Bristol Park Apartments near 44th and Garnett on November 25, 2014.

Sgt. Walker said the car was stolen the day before the murders. It was found in an apartment complex near the 2100 block of south 137th East Avenue. Walker said the interior of the car was damaged.

The forensic lab processed the car for evidence, Walker said, and detectives have determined it was involved with bringing the shooter to Bristol Park apartments, then transporting the shooter away from the scene after the shooting.

Sgt. Walker said detectives believe the person who left the Crime Stoppers tip has additional information about the murders and want the tipster to call Crime Stoppers back or call the TPD homicide tip line at 918-798-8477.
