Former Tahlequah Chamber Director Pleads Not Guilty To Embezzlement

The former director of the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce has pleaded not guilty to embezzlement charges.

David Moore, 47, is now free on a $30,000 bond.

Moore resigned in June when board members questioned him about the Chamber's finances.

The Tahlequah Daily Press reports that an affidavit from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation shows as much $439,000 may have been lost due to misappropriation and questionable expenditures.
