Missing LeFlore County Man's Body Found In Ravine

The LeFlore County Sheriff's Office says a body found Sunday has been identified as Jack Davis, an elderly man who went missing February 9, 2015.

Sheriff Rob Seale told KFSM, the CBS affiliate in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Davis' body was found in a deep ravine on Cavanal Hill in LeFlore County.

Davis, 81, was last seen wearing fleece pajama pants in the 300 block of Crest Court in Poteau. A Silver Alert was issued two days later.

The sheriff says the body was sent to the state Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa for an autopsy to determine cause of death.

Deputies from the sheriff's office, Poteau Police and Fire Department, and LeFlore County Emergency Management Office took part in the search and recovery of Davis' body.
