Police: Three-Truck Crash Shuts Down Broken Arrow Expressway

Broken Arrow Police believe a crash on the Broken Arrow Expressway near Coweta played a role in second crash involving three trucks near Lynn Lane Tuesday morning. 

Officers said the second crash involving a flatbed semi, box truck and a semi carrying an oversize load blocked the eastbound lanes forcing drivers to exit at Elm. 

BA Police Sgt. Keith Cook said the flatbed and box trucks had stopped because of the Coweta wreck when a semi carrying an oversize load attempted to pass using the inside lane. He said the oversize load caught the rear of box truck and pushed it into the side of flatbed truck. 

No one was injured.
