Tornado Hits Near Broken Arrow; Severe Storms Continue Eastward
Widespread power outages have been reported as tornadoes have been spotted in eastern Oklahoma.

The storms that moved in from western Oklahoma hit the Green Country viewing area about 9:30 p.m. The severe storm moved across the state quickly, doing damage in its path.
By 1:30 a.m., the tornado warnings in Oklahoma all had expired.
A tornado was confirmed to have hit in southeast Tulsa. One house is leveled and up to a dozen damaged with debris scattered and downed power lines near where our spotter saw a tornado about 11 p.m.
A Thunderstorm warning remains in effect for the following counties: Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Cherokee, Coal, Craig, Delaware, Hughes, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Mayes, McIntosh, Murray, Muskogee, Nowata, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pontotoc, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner.
High winds uprooted trees in Osage County near Pawhuska, and roof damage has been reported east of Broken Arrow and all along the Interstate 44 corridor. At least a dozen homes seem destroyed between Broken Arrow and Coweta, our field crews said.
Thousands of Northeastern Oklahomans remain without power into the early Sunday hours.
Reports are that lightning caused a tank battery fire in eastern Pawnee County which firefighters were able to control.
Three-hour rainfall totals for Wynona was 1 3/4 inches, which is desperately needed in that area, despite flooding across other areas of the state.
