A Skiatook man's dream home that includes a personal pond is closer to completion thanks to all the recent rain.
We first introduced you to Paul Phillips back in January after he rented a dozer, dug a pond and built a 1,800 square foot cabin over it.
“I've dreamed about building one of these for years,” he said.
Thanks to all the rain, the pond is full so now rain or shine, ice or snow, he can do what he loves whenever he wants.
"I can sit here, watch TV - watch a ballgame or watch the news - and fish all at the same time," Phillips said.
Our original story has been aired and shared both on TV and online several thousand times, and he and his dream fishing cabin have become regionally famous.

"I've had people come from Illinois, West Virginia, Texas, Kansas and California,” Phillips said. "They got it off the Internet when you put it on your news."
One lady who drove from Texas came back a second time and brought Phillips a couple of ducks for the pond.
Inside there's a kitchen, a big living room, a fireplace and a nicely furnished bedroom, and upstairs there's a couple more bedrooms and a bath.
Then, of course, there's the fishing hole.
Duct work goes down into the water about a foot so even in the winter the cold air can't come up through the floor.
With a little hard work and creativity, Phillips can now live his dream and fish when he pleases.
