The court video from the jail may be a little blurry, but it was clear Daphne Mason was crying as the judge told her she was being held without bond for murder. Her boyfriend Jonathan Grafton did not shed any tears and kept his head down as the judge told him the same.
The two were wanted for killing Trey Pritchard and Jeffrey Grafton, whose bodies were found inside the Travelers Inn Motel in Midwest City. Court records reveal both men had been shot in the head.
Both Mason and Grafton were arrested in Enid on Monday, after an alert citizen noticed them hanging out in front of a convenience store there, trying to convince someone to give them money and a ride to Kansas. That citizen called 911, and the call is what brought the two-day manhunt for the couple to a close.

Court papers filed Wednesday morning, state Daphne Mason told investigators Grafton shot and killed both his father and Pritchard. She claimed the weapon they used, which she described as a revolver, was left in the victim's 2000 Dodge truck. She further stated after the murders occurred, they took a different pistol from Pritchard, which she said was also left in the victim's Dodge truck.
According to the search warrant return, police found one Smith and Wesson 38 special revolver containing five unspent rounds. They also found one Smith and Wesson 357 revolver containing four spent rounds.
Investigators also learned that not only had Jonathan Grafton stolen his father Jeffrey's truck, he also possibly made a withdrawal of $1,500 from his bank account without his consent.
