Tulsa Teacher's Dream Could Lead To Grant

A Tulsa teacher has big dreams that could mean big bucks.

Sandra Weller teaches French Immersion at Eisenhower International School. She found out Wednesday she's one of 15 finalists nationwide for the Dream Big Teacher Challenge grant.

Online voters will determine which six teachers will win $100,000 each.

"We need everyone to get on their website every day and I guess they're voting for me. But, a vote for me is a vote for all of the kids in our program," Weller said.

Voting is open throughout the month of October and Farmers Insurance will announce the winners in December.
