A hearing for former Tulsa County reserve deputy Bob Bates' has been postponed until next month.

Bates, who is charged with second-degree manslaughter, arrived at the courthouse for a hearing about evidence on Wednesday morning, but no judge was there.

The original judge assigned to the case recused himself last month. Judge James Caputo announced his decision after the Tulsa County District Attorney's office and an activist group asked him to step aside.
