Tulsa attorney, John M. O'Connor has been appointed to the Oklahoma State University-Tulsa Board of Trustees, the school announced Tuesday.
“John O’Connor is a distinguished attorney whose community leadership will prove invaluable for OSU-Tulsa,” said OSU-Tulsa President Howard Barnett.
O’Connor will join OSU-Tulsa Trustees and will fill the seat left by outgoing Trustee Henry Primeaux.
O’Connor earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from OSU where he was elected student body president. He earned his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
The OSU-Tulsa Board of Trustees consists of nine members, with seven appointed for seven-year terms by the governor and approved by the Oklahoma Senate and two who are members of the OSU/A&M Board of Regents.
