The baby died in July of 2014.

On Monday, January 11, 2016, Crystal Hoglan pleaded guilty to 1st-degree murder and four counts of child neglect. Her sentencing is set for April.

Jimmy Legates pleaded guilty to four counts of child neglect. A judge held a trial for him and will decide whether he's guilty of first-degree murder, but there's no indication when that decision will come.

Rogers County sheriff's deputies found the couple living in a filthy, dilapidated trailer. They say the odor in and around the trailer was sickening.

"Those pictures show exactly what's there but in no way does it give anyone the ability to smell the filth that you can smell even outside the residence," Sheriff Scott Walton said at the time.

The couple's other two children - a 3- and 7-year-old - were taken into DHS custody.
