Bus Routes Expanded For Buses In OKC

Oklahoma City's EMBARK bus service Monday started an expansion.

Two more of EMBARK's 23 routes have been extended. 

Instead of closing at 7 p.m., bus routes 5 and 13 will remain open until midnight Monday through Friday.

Cheryl Baker says she rides the number 5 everyday.

"Actually, it's gonna help a lot of us getting back and forth to work and school. It's gonna help out a lot," Baker said.

EMBARK riders pay $1.75 per trip. They can also pay $4 for a day pass.
