Tulsa Man Convicted Of Abusing Of His Infant Son

A Tulsa jury found a Tulsa father guilty Thursday of child abuse by injury and is recommending he be sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Austin Kirkwood, 23, was arrested by police last year after his 7-week-old son was taken to a Tulsa hospital with injuries, including a broken arm, two broken legs, a broken collar bone and a bite mark on his chest.

Kirkwood's trial was held this week and a jury convicted him.
