Authorities have arrested two suspects and are looking for one more in connection to a man’s stabbing death in Logan County, Oklahoma.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s office, at about 3:45 a.m. on Monday, deputies responded to the report of a stabbing at a mobile home in the 8900 block of Ridgecrest Drive. When they arrived, they found the victim, 28-year-old Adam Shane Harrison, dead in the backyard. Deputies said Harrison died from apparent stab wounds.
Harrison’s girlfriend said the tenant of the home, 28-year-old Richard Dean Bake Jr., had allowed them to stay at his home for a few days. In the evening of Sunday, May 1, two people, 23-year-old Jesus Eduardo Sanchez and an unidentified male, were doing methamphetamine at the home. Bake was not home at the time.
Harrison's girlfriend told deputies that an argument escalated into a physical fight and Harrison was stabbed by one of the suspects who came to do meth. The two suspects ran away from the home after they were unable to steal Harrison’s vehicle.
Sanchez and the unidentified suspect were later picked up a short distance away from the home by 31-year-old Tabatha Vi Nicole Lehr and taken out of Logan County.
The Sheriff's office announced Wednesday morning that Sanchez has been taken into custody on a complaint of first-degree murder. Tabatha Vi Nicole Lehr was also arrested on a complaint of accessory to commit murder. Deputies continue to look for the third suspect in this case.
Bake is being held for a Logan County arrest warrant on unrelated charges.
