After a successful five hour meeting with Kevin Durant on Thursday, it looks like the Thunder are in a strong position to re-sign the superstar, according to ESPN.
ESPN sources say a successful meeting Thursday with Kevin Durant has put OKC in a strong position as KD readies to meet with five more teams

Thunder GM Sam Presti and Vice President Troy Weaver met with Durant, agent Rich Kleiman and longtime friend and manager Charlie Bell at Chesapeake Energy Arena, and it appears that things went well enough for OKC to feel confident as Durant enters free agency at 11 p.m. CT. After the meeting, Durant boarded a plane to New York, where he'll meet with the Warriors and Clippers on Friday, the Spurs and Celtics on Saturday, and the Miami Heat on Sunday. Oklahoma City also feels confident they'll be granted another meeting with Durant once he's done meeting with the other teams on his list.
The Kevin Durant visit in OKC is over, I'm told. What's more, the Thunder are now expected to get a meeting on the backend in NY as well.

Kevin Durant has taken the recruiting process very seriously, and that's evident by the teams he's meeting with. The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Jay Z, who runs Roc Nation management, wanted Durant to take a couple more meetings, but apparently he wasn't having it.
"He's represented by Roc Nation, which is run by Jay Z," Wojnarowski said on The Vertical's free agency special. "Sources tell me that Jay Z really pushed his people to try to convince Kevin to meet with Brooklyn, meet with the Knicks. And he hasn't done it. And it speaks to how serious-minded Kevin is about this process that it's about winning."
The news that the Thunder are in strong position to re-sign Durant comes after ESPN's Marc Spears reported earlier in the day that it would take an amazing pitch to lure Durant away from Oklahoma City.
