Brian Bosworth Talks OU Defense

Oklahoma is the Big 12 preseason favorite again this year so expectations are high. But the Sooners have to replace four All-Conference starters on defense.

We asked legendary linebacker Brian Bosworth for his thoughts.

"I'd like to see a true linebacker stand up and start to take hold of that position,” said Bosworth. “We've had Striker in the past, but he's kind of a hybrid on the outside, just a pass rush specialist. The position of linebacker has changed over the last few years, so you really do need a guy that can play strong safety like position in coverage and also play inside the box when it's necessary."
