Oklahoma attorney general released the official opinion Tuesday afternoon concerning the direct sales and consumption of high-point beers for local brewers.
Attorney General Scott Pruitt said after a legal review of Senate Bill 424, the "opinion upholds the original intent of the legislature, which was to permit craft brewers to sell high-point beer for consumption both on and off their premises."

The attorney general's office was asked to review and analysis by the ABLE Commission.
"Interpreting the law is never about picking winners or losers," Pruitt said in a statement. "I am confident this opinion provides certainty to regulators, businesses, and the people of Oklahoma."
