Glenpool High School Students Take Part In 22 Pushup Challenge

Glenpool High School is doing their part Wednesday to raise awareness for veterans and their families who are affected by suicide.  

During both of their lunch hours, all high school students were encouraged to do 22 pushups.

The organization behind the 22Kill movement says 22 veterans a day on average end their own lives due to mental issues such as PTS.

As people post videos of themselves doing 22 pushups, 22Kill hopes to encourage veterans in their transition from military to civilian life.

They say over 9 million people have taken the 22 pushup challenge.
