Midwest City Police To Host Fundraiser To Purchase New K9

Midwest City police will host a fundraiser to purchase another K9, as one of the department’s K9 officers is retiring due to an injury.

According to police, the fundraiser will take place at 10 a.m. on September 17 and 12 p.m. on September 18 at the FOP Lodge at 8705 S.E. 15th Street in Midwest City. The event will feature games for children, live bands, auctions, and food provided by IHOP.

The department said an artist will also come to the fundraiser and donate half of his proceeds to its K9 unit.
