There's a plan forming to redesign the City of Tulsa's flag.
Right now it's simply the city seal on a white background, but some think it could be much more and use a modern marketing tool.
The idea presented to the city council Wednesday morning is to start asking the public for ideas right away, with artists developing the design, and a social media vote in a few months.
"We're going to create multiple versions, have a panel and narrow those down to a few and have the public vote on those," said Jacob Johnson, #TulsaFlag.
"We want the public involved in the very beginning, the input, as well as in the voting on which one represents us the best.
The group launched the tulsaflag.com website Wednesday afternoon to start getting ideas.
