Muskogee Turnpike Reopens After Multi-Vehicle Wreck Near Coweta

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said all lanes of traffic have reopened on the Muskogee Turnpike near the Coweta exit after two semis and three cars were involved in a collision before 8 a.m. Thursday morning. 

OHP reports that two additional collisions occurred in the construction zone among the traffic that was backed up. 

Troopers said traffic is moving slowly. 

Troopers say there were two minor injuries in the crash which happened in a construction zone on the turnpike.

The OHP reports the road was closed for nearly 3.5 hours.
