A major street project scheduled to start this week along 101st Street South in Tulsa and could impact your commute.
A lot of this work will be happening just outside of Jenks Middle School.
The first phase of this street rehab project will impact drivers on 101st Street between Harvard and Yale.
Between Florence, just across from the school, all the way to Yale there will be flag men monitoring traffic as they build retaining walls.
Also they will add a left turn lane at Louisville, a right-turn lane into Jenks Middle School just east of Florence and sidewalks on the north side of 101st Street.
When school closes for the summer, 101st Street will be completely closed to traffic from Florence to Louisville.
This project will take time so expect to see work being done until February 2018.
