Less than a year after it opened in downtown Tulsa, a restaurant is closing its doors.
Torero Bar and Kitchen located across the street from the BOK Center will serve its customers for the last time on Saturday, May 6th.
The owners, Chip, Noah and Ian told News On 6 they enjoyed opening in a part of town that hadn't been heavily established yet and invite all their customers to come enjoy the restaurant over the next few days.
"A few years ago we were approached by a group of investors with a mutual goal of developing a section of downtown that had not been established yet. Their trust in us allowed us to work on creating the concept of Torero.
Our goal from the outset was to provide Tulsa with a unique dining experience that gave them the feeling of being a part of our family with an emphasis on excellent food and great service.
We want to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone in Tulsa who joined us on this journey and thank you for being a part of this restaurant. We look forward to seeing you all in the future and invite all of you to join us over the next few days so that we can see you again for another great meal."
The restaurant is located at 202 South Cheyenne Avenue.
