New developments for the mother of two Rogers County brothers in prison for a deadly hit-and-run crash.

Dorothea Butanda plead guilty to accessory and obstruction charges for helping her sons, Gage and Dakota Shriver, cover up a hit-and-run crash in 2015.

Last month, Dorothea Butanda asked a judge to allow her to withdraw her guilty plea.

The Rogers County District Attorney has responded to Butanda's request in court documents, saying there is no legal basis for Butanda to withdraw her plea and that the request is only an attempt to avoid prison time.

A judge will hold a hearing on the issue next week.
