Bodycam footage released by police show the arrest of a man accused of leading officers on a wild police chase in the Oklahoma City metro.
The chase started about 2:40 p.m. Monday in southwest Oklahoma and weaved in and out of Cashion and Edmond before it ended at Quail Springs Mall near Memorial Road and May Avenue.
Officers rushed into Quail Springs Mall after a man and a woman, who were in a reportedly stolen dark blue Dodge Charger, made their last ditch effort at escape.
In one video, an officer runs inside the mall through a Von Maur entrance. The woman was detained outside the entrance by an officer and was on the ground when one officer ran inside the mall.
Officers cut off the man as he made his way up an escalator near J.C. Penney's. Officers quickly arrested the man. In the video, the man was sweating and acted confused when officers handcuffed him.
Myron Cortez Watson, 36, was arrested on several complaints. The woman was not identified Monday.
