News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer To Host Weather Safety Seminar

You can join News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer for a special weather safety seminar.

Travis will talk about the drastic changes in weather forecasting and what that means as we age. Travis will discuss why we are safer now and if there are still many weather unknowns that we need to be aware of. He will also talk about the importance of easy, accessible storm (safe) rooms and how new ideas are helping make it easier to get access safe room spaces. Travis will end his presentation with a look to the future.

The event is set for August 27, 2018,

Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session at the end of the evening, as well as a special meet-and-greet with Travis Meyer.
