Wizard World Comic Con is making a stop at the Cox Business Center this weekend. The pop culture celebration highlights movies, music, art, television, comics, gaming and more.
"There is something going on every minute of the show - whether it’s a programming area an entertainment area or just going around and seeing different people who love the same things you love," spokesperson Jerry Milani said.
There is also a fun lineup of celebrities if you want an autograph or a picture.
Ryan Hurst, who starred in Remember the Titans and most recently play Opie Winston on Sons of Anarchy will be there. Another member of Sons of Anarchy, Ron Pearlman will be in attendance, you may also recognize him as Hellboy.
Nichelle Nichols from Star Trek will meet fans.
And, there is an impressive lineup from Charmed, including Holly Marie Combs, Brian Krause and Drew Fuller.
Rookie of the Year star Thomas Ian Nicholas will be there, too.
Samantha Newark has brought characters to life through her voiceover work. She's most well known for her work as Jem in Jem and the Holograms.
"Well, if they want to meet their childhood hero, which is what they often call me. I didn't get the chance to do it when they were kids and it’s just so lovely,” Newark said.
The event is also a great excuse to dress up. There will be costume contests and cosplay seminars throughout the convention, which runs Friday through Sunday.
News On 6 also has a booth at this year’s Comic Con. We’ll be there Friday from 4:00-9:00 p.m.
