Sooners' DE Jalen Redmond Cleared To Play Immediately

News 9 Sports Director Dean Blevins has confirmed that freshman defensive end Jalen Redmond has been cleared to play for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Dean broke the story about Redmond's medical issues back in July. Redmond was being treated for blood clots, and it was thought that he would need to miss the football season and redshirt.

However, Redmond is now expected to play against TCU on October 20.
