Tulsa Man Arrested For Assaulting Woman

Tulsa Police arrested a man accused of assaulting a woman with a deadly weapon.

Tulsa Police arrested a man accused of assaulting a woman with a deadly weapon.

Officers say they responded to a call on Saturday and found the victim bleeding from her head. The victim told police that John Kirkpatrick hit her over the head with rocks, a machete, and a metal pipe.

When officers arrived a Kirkpatrick’s residence he refused to leave the house. Officers say they eventually sent in a K9 unit who found the suspect hiding in his attic. Officers say they also found drugs on Kirkpatrick as he was being taken into custody.

Kirkpatrick is facing charges of Assault with a Deadly Weapon and a Possession charge. He is being held without bond.
