A Tulsa Public School is saying goodbye to a very special employee.
Faye Johnson has been head custodian at Lindbergh Elementary for 40 years, touching the lives of generations of students, teachers and parents. She's retiring after 45 years with the district.
Faye was honored during a reception Monday afternoon where she looked back on her career and what she's learned from the job.
"When you give respect to kids, they will respect you back. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't do it any different," said Faye Johnson.
Her last day on the job is Friday, December 21st.
To kick off her retirement, she says she plans to get lots of rest.
