U.S. Marshals Museum Gets $1 Million Donation

The U.S. Marshals Museum being built in Fort Smith got a big donation. The museum is being built along the Arkansas River and will prominently feature several Oklahomans like Bass Reeves and Bill Tighlman.

A sales tax that would have funded the completion of the project recently failed. But an Arkansas real estate developer stepped in this week and donated $1 million.

The museum is expected to open later this year.
