ORU: Apparent Medical Issue Claims Life Of Woman Visiting Campus

Medical complications apparently led to the death of a woman visiting Tulsa's Oral Roberts University early Saturday, the school said.

ORU released a statement in which it said the woman was on campus during ORU's annual College Weekend for prospective students.

Oral Roberts University is sad to confirm the death of a young woman visiting our campus on an overnight stay. She was found unresponsive early Saturday morning. The cause of death is to be determined but early indications are that there were medical complications. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. 

Around 300 high school students from around the country are at Oral Roberts University this weekend, touring the campus and attending a number of events geared for prospective students.

The name of the woman was not released.
