Woman Arrested, Accused Of Crushing Headstones In Oklahoma City Cemetery

Police arrested a woman accused of crushing headstones in a cemetery with a hammer and a shovel.

Officers said Karina Escobar was at the Britton Cemetery Sunday night near North Western Avenue and West Britton Road

Police said Escobar damaged 20 to 25 headstones.

Cemetery Officials said she's been caught before for hammering headstones.

She was booked on the complaints of malicious injury to property and injury to a cemetery.

It is estimated she allegedly caused more than $5,000 dollars in damages.
