Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) says it has restored power to more than half of the customers hit by the weekend storms, but over 55,000 are now entering a fifth day without power.

PSO says about 3,500 workers from around the country are actively working on the restoration effort. PSO says at the peak, 204,000 people were without power. PSO officials say all customers should have power by Saturday afternoon. Crews faced a setback on Wednesday afternoon when storms rolled through Tulsa again, causing outage numbers to climb slightly.
