Man Found Shot, Killed In Tulsa Front Yard; Tulsa Police Investigating

A man was found shot and killed in a front yard in Tulsa, police confirmed Tuesday. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Tulsa Police Lt. Brandon Watkins said officers arrived at the scene to find the man lying in the yard surrounded by several people. Authorities are still working to determine what led to the shooting.

“We are still piecing together exactly what happened and who all was involved,” Watkins said. “It looks like an altercation that got out of hand and shots were fired.”

Investigators are also looking into a second gunshot victim who arrived at the hospital shortly after the first. It is unclear at this time if the two incidents are connected.

Police have one person in custody and are interviewing witnesses. At this time, they do not believe there are any other suspects involved.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are expected to remain at the scene for several more hours as they gather evidence and continue to interview witnesses.
