Tulsa’s Oktoberfest kicks off today, celebrating 45 years of Bavarian culture with food, drinks, music, and games.

Recently named the best Oktoberfest in America by USA Today, the festival promises fun for all ages.

One of the featured activities is the Bavarian Cup, where participants compete in traditional games like the MaßKrug (Masskrug) Relay, where contestants carry steins across the arena.

Games and competitions will be held throughout the weekend, with pop-up events in festival tents and stadium games starting tonight.

Visitors can also catch performances at the Glockenspiel, a human-powered cuckoo clock, followed by even more games.

The festival opens to the public at 4 p.m. today, so be sure to check the schedule and join the fun.
