Victim of Possible Drunken Driving Dies

A person, who was hit by a possible drunken driver, has died at the hospital.

Police believe alcohol is to blame for a deadly accident in South Tulsa early Sunday morning. The collision happened around 3:00 a.m. near 91st and South Mingo.

Police say 66-year-old Kyong Sellers of Broken Arrow died after an SUV swerved into oncoming traffic, hitting her head-on.

The driver of the SUV, 21-year-old Joshua Peters of Bixby, is in jail on suspicion of negligent homicide, driving under the influence and driving left of center, among other suspected traffic violations.
