Man Burned In Oklahoma City Mobile Home Fire

OKLAHOMA CITY – A man was rushed to the hospital Monday morning following a fire that destroyed his mobile home.

Firefighters were called to 501 S.E. 44th Street at 6:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found flames shooting from the mobile home, and a man standing outside.

The man had escaped the fire, but received second-degree burns to his hands and face. An ambulance transported him to Baptist Medical Center.

The fire destroyed the mobile home and threatened another, but firefighters extinguished the flames before they spread.

Crews don't know yet what started the fire.
