OHP Troopers Identify Driver Involved In Fatal Crash On I-40

News On 6 The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified a driver who died after striking a tree in Sequoyah County on Thursday night. Troopers identified the driver as 26-year-old Eric Jewell from Muskogee. Jewell was driving a 2003 GMC Envoy at the time of the crash. According to troopers, Jewell was traveling eastbound on Interstate-40 near mile marker 323 around 11:30 p.m., when he drove off to the left side of the road into the center median, troopers said that Jewell then overcorrected and crossed the r
