The suspect killed in a shootout with law enforcement in Talihina has been identified. Authorities have identified the suspect as Bradley Daniel Webster.

A bill is headed to Governor Mary Fallin's desk that could move the Oklahoma Veterans Center hospital out of Talihina. The Oklahoma Veterans Facility Investment Act of 2018 authorizes a new facility to replace the one in Talihina, by either building a new building or refurbishing an existing building.

Authorities in McCurtain County issue a Silver Alert for a missing woman from Smithville. The alert was issued Thursday afternoon for 81-year-old Wanda Harmon.
